Second Line is looking for original and insightful undergraduate works of literary merit such as reviews, essays, and literary criticism for the next edition.
Guidelines for submission:
One professor recommendation required (form attached below)
All submissions should include:
A cover page with the student's name, class, major, Tulane e-mail address, and phone number.
No identifying information should appear on the manuscript to maintain the anonymity of the author during the review process.
The last four digits of the telephone number will serve to identify the paper and should be placed in the upper left-hand corner of all pages of the manuscript.
Format:
All documents must be submitted electronically via email to tulanesecondline@gmail.com attached as a Microsoft Word Document
A hard copy must also be delivered to the Second Line box in the English Department along with cover page and Professor Recommendation form
Standard 1-inch margins
Font: 12 point, Times New Roman
The entire document must be double-spaced
25 page limit, including works cited
Adhere to guidelines of the MLA Style Manual in writing and works cited.
